While designing standalone solar systems, or solar lighting systems, there may come to mind many types of batteries that could be used to achieve the goal of the system.
Generally the widely known types are Lithium cobalt oxide ( LCO ) which has ability to give high energy but its cost is high. Battery safety is low, and the life span is short normally. The second type is Lithium Manganese Oxide ( LMO ): which has also ability to give high power, in opposite it is high cost and life span is short. But its safety is higher.
On the other hand Lithium Iron Phosphate ( LFP ) which can give high power, intermediate cost, high life span, and higher safety.
