Solar lighting systems that are used in outside lighting could be either with free motional panel, or fixed one over the panel itself.
Fixed panel has the advantage of plug and play, jut place the set and let it starts working. While the free motional one, you have to choose the right vertical and horizental angel perpendicular to the average of sun path during year. But as the result, free motional one has higher efficiency that fixed one, as the sun angel differs between locations around the world.
